S.W.A.T.
Summer With A Twist
Our goal is to provide opportunities to young people from diverse cultural backgrounds who have grown up in economically disadvantaged communities with the necessary skills to achieve in life. We are committed to empowering youth to be the best version of themselves. S.W.A.T.program are weeks of fun while learning. S.W.A.T.is filled with respect and love!
Background:
S.W.A.T. will create engaging, empowering to help youth build skills and develop a self-connection to their world; as a result, youth achieve success, develop healthy behaviors and relationships, and exhibit life and leadership skills.
Goal/Objectives:
Youth development is a process through which the needs of young people are addressed through life and social skills, knowledge, reasoning, creativity, and healthy behavior, all of which are character aspects on which the program focuses.
The designed curriculum will be:
- Formal Instruction Or Content Based -Learning Activities.
- Meaningful Youth That Initiated Activities That Translate Knowledge To Action.
- Reflection For Personal And Group Growth.
- Opportunities For Participants To Connect With His/Her Community And The World At Large.
The topic will include:
- Self-Awareness
- Self-Identity
- Self-Discipline
- Building Healthy Relationships
- The Power Of Priorities
- The Role Of Boundaries
- Promoting Healthy Behavior
- Fun Activities/Field Trips
- Arts & Craft
- P.E. Session

- Meeting These Objectives Will Require An Open Line Of Communication With Current And Past Volunteers.
- Key Goal Of The Curriculum Is To Empower Youth To Make Right Decision In Becoming A Better You, Regrading Their Life And Goals.
